This car has aged VERY well! Such a timeless design. Hard to think that this came out in 1990 when I was 5 years old!

I think it looks better now. When I was growing up, these seemed pretty reserved compared to similar cars, but now it looks miles better.

Saw a 1991 NSX yesterday. Actually the first NSX I've ever seen.

This and the FD RX-7 are my 2 favorites.

It surprises me how often people go out of their way to compliment when I'm driving mine. Perhaps some of the things that made it seem a little plain back then are what helps it not look dated now.

Agreed. VERY timeless styling.
I like almost everything about the earlier NSX, and still like the later fixed-headlight version, but not quite as much.
The only thing I would have done.... shortened the rear overhang. The tail looks a bit bulky and long... but not badly styled... the tail lights are fantastic... The car would just look perfect if there was 2-3 inches chopped out of the length of the trunk.

The only thing I've always hated on these is the door panels that shriveled up leather never looked good. I would replace it with suede or something.

I wouldn't change the looks of the back of the car, other than bringing the back end a bit closer to the rear wheel.. The wing, the tail lights, and the rear bumper all look fine, it just looks like there is a lot of mass hanging off behind the rear axle line and it accentuates how short the fastback roofline above the engine bay is, is all.
And it is certainly not a deal-breaker as-is, at all. In comparison, even the 675LT "long tail" McLaren, seems quite short, let alone, the standard 12C/650S. The rear axle line being further forward on the NSX, with a transverse drivetrain is part of it, as well, where McLaren, and others are longitudinal, and longer-wheelbase.
